Studying in a Korean university is a challenging and stressful experience. Most of the times students feel overloaded, do not have enough time to complete the assignments and eventually burn out. Nevertheless, when we look around, we can see many positive and productive students, who do well in every class, do not get stressed and manage their time perfectly. These students always have their tools that help them manage everything successfully during their studying process. These tools are smartphone applications that make student life easier and a lot more productive. This article is going to discuss these apps personally used by the author for making her studies smoother.
1.
Daglo.
Daglo is a
brilliant Korean app every student needs to have. During your university
lectures, if you do not understand what Professor says, or if you miss anything
important, or just do not feel like listening and understanding everything
during couple of hours, Daglo will save you. With Daglo you can record the
whole lecture and then convert the audio into a text format, so that you can
read it later. If you prefer listening instead of reading, you can do it as
well. You can do both simultaneously because as you listen, every sentence you
are listening to is highlighted in the text, making it super comfortable. What
is really amazing about this app is that you can record lecture that is in one
language and convert into a text in another language. Thus, if you take classes
in Korean, for instance, but have difficulties in understanding it, the app can
convert the lecture script into English, or any other language provided by the
app.
This app
can be helpful not only in educational context, but also in everyday life. If
you have an important meeting, you can use daglo, so that you do not miss or
forget any important detail discussed during the meeting.

3.
Canva.
Canva is
the app that I use almost every single day for different purposes: for my
education, for my work as well as for personal use (social media). I used
dozens of apps for presentations and I can confidently claim that Canva is the
best option. Canva has hundreds of presentation templates separately for every
category, field, major and so on. You can use any template you like, you can
combine several templates, use icons, pictures, animations, to name but a few.
This is also a perfect tool for team presentation since several members can
work on the same project, edit the presentation, add changes, all of which will
be seen by other members of the team. Just like Notion, Canva can be used both
from the app and from the website, which makes it comfortable to work on your
project with flexibility.
4. Papago.
Papago is a
language translation app developed by Naver Corporation, a South Korean
technology company. It is one of the most popular apps used by students in
South Korea. However, there still are some students who do not know about it
and its functions. Papago is designed to translate text, speech, and images
between different languages. Most frequently it is used to translate imagines –
take a picture of the book page (or anything containing a text) and translate
the text into the language you desire. This is especially helpful for students
that study in a language that they are not advanced in, helping them to
translate everything quickly.
The app
also provides a conversational mode, where you can engage in a conversation
with someone who speaks a different language. Papago can assist in translating
both sides of the conversation. Moreover, Papago can automatically detect the
language of the input text or speech. This app works in an offline mode as
well.
5.

platform to enhance your knowledge studying your university subject-related
lessons in a more straightforward way. Skillshare offers a wide variety of
courses for each and every category, and a certificate of completion after a particular

low, especially considering that with a small fee you discover hundreds of free
